How to install on mast

Method one (Simplest and most effective)
Slip the hexbeam bottom stub down into your mast

The bottom of the Hexbeam baseplate is shown at left with the center post protruding below the bottom of the baseplate about 8 inches. The Hexbeam can be mounted on your mast by inserting this stub (1.3 inches O.D) into a larger mast and cross bolting it.

Method two (Ideal for steel push mast)
Couple the hexbeam bottom stub to your steel push up mast
A short piece of pipe with an inside diameter of 1.33 inches will slip over the hexbeam bottom stub and also a Rohn steel push up mast. Install crossbolts as in Method one above.

The Mast Coupler (1.33 inch I.D.) is a snug fit for the baseplate stub and a slight wiggle for the 1.25 inches O.D. Rohn and Channelmaster steel push up masts. With two crossbolts in the customer mast any wobble can be eliminated. Ideal for the crossbolts are 1/4-20 by 2 inch stainless steel hex bolts.
Our Mast Coupler is made of 6061 T-6, aircraft aluminum, 8 inches long, 1.5 inches O.D. and 1.33 inches I.D. It can be ordered on the store page.

Method three (when the other two methods won’t work)
Use pipe to pipe clamps

If the first two methods won’t work for you, a pair of pipe to pipe clamps can be used as shown left. The clamps do not come with the Hexbeam unless you order them.

Details of the pipe to pipe clamp are shown below and can be ordered on the store page.
